In Sidmouth, you’re on the doorstep of Britain’s longest and most popular National Trail - The South West Coast Path.
SW Coast path scene

Along the Path, whether you take a short stroll or stride out on the clifftops, you can find your own piece of this special coastline. The Path is well-signed and easy to follow. Picturesque harbours, dramatic Beer Head, tranquil estuaries, and secret coves you’ll discover for yourself – all these and so much more lie on the route of the South West Coast Path.

Cliff top peaks and rolling countryside ... they stretch before you, against the backdrop of the sea, as you walk the Coast Path Westwards towards Ladram Bay from the summit of Peak Hill, high above Sidmouth.
